Venue confirmed for Tipp’s All-Ireland semi-final

first_imgIt’s been confirmed that the Tipperary Under 21 footballers will take on Dublin in the All-Ireland semi-final on April 18th in O’Connor Park, Tullamore with throw-in scheduled for 4pm.Tipperary’s Under 21 football manager Tommy Twomey has praised the leadership shown by the team’s Captain Colin O’Riordan during his side’s one point victory over Cork. The Premier County won the Munster Championship for only the second time in their history in Semple Stadium yesterday evening beating the Rebels on a score line of 1-15 to 3-8.  Twomey says Cork struggled during the game with his players’ pace. For more post-match reaction with Colin O’Riordan, Ian Fahey and Stephen O’Brien, press play below:Tipp will now meet Dublin in the All Ireland semi-final on Saturday April 18th, with a venue and time expected to be announced later today.last_img read more
