first_imgJim McGuinness has started to take his coaching badges with the FAI. .Former Donegal manager Jim McGuinness has taken his first steps into coaching soccer by attending a number of FAI coaching courses over the last number of months.McGuinness who is employed as a Sports Psychologist at Celtic FC has participated in a number of introductory coaching courses provided by the FAI.The Irish Independent reported that McGuinness took part in FAI’s kickstart 2 coaching course in Dungarvan Co. Waterford, and will be completing the youth cert course in Galway in the coming weeks. It is believed McGuinness is keen to get the badges done in order to some coaching work at the club’s academy.McGuinness is the most successful manager in Donegal’s GAA history.He lead the team from the GAA doldrums to three Ulster titles and one All-Ireland Ireland during a glorious period for the county.McGuinness works closely alongside Celtic manager Ronnie Delia who highly values the role the Glenties man plays in his sides development.
